Happy Birthday???

Soooo, tomorrow is Valentines Day and my 33rd (i think) Birthday. It is funny how birthdays change when you become a mom, particularly a stay at home mom. A few years ago when I was a working gal, coming and going as I please, my day probably would have entailed dressing up for work in something pink and/or red. Arriving at my desk decorated with balloons or streamers and/or presents. Getting taken out to lunch and doted on. Then, in the afternoon a party complete with a cake of some sorts and some good times.
Let me tell you what the plans on for tomorrow: 9:00 a.m. Providing it is not a blizzard like preticted, (and I am so totally jealous of Pastor Chris)I will be driving the wildflowers to the doctors office because for the last 2 days I have been slimed with snot and caughed on more than I care to remember!! We haven't had a remotely descent night sleep in several days and I am sure tonight will not be any different!
But I have promised myself a special treat in the morning......a White Chocolate Mocha. That should help me make it thru the day.
I am thankful to be having a birthday and I am looking forward to all of the things to come this next year!!

Tinkle Tinkle Ltr Str

Madison was using a baseball bat as her microphone this morning. She found Matthew's bat that he keeps under the bed to attack the bad guys that may brake into our house.........isn't that a lovely thought!! You can also hear Parker in the background yelling thru the window at Matthew because he was outside working on his truck....daddy, daddy, daddy!!!!

St. Valentine

I am probably the only one who semi-decorates their home for February. I believe the reason is because my birthday is on Valentines Day so it's like the whole month is a celebration!! Birthdays were more fun in my twenties because I was just turning twenty-something, but the last few years it has been thirty-something and I don't think that I like that very much. Don't get me wrong, it's better than the alternative, but still! So here are some of my Valentine things that I am putting up around the house...

Come on.......

So far our day has gone as follows:

2:30 am * Madison is awake in my room. Put Madison back to bed but of course it takes me an hour to return to sleep.....
6:30 am * Parker wakes up way to early and wakes everyone else up in the meantime.......

From then on all I have heard is..........yellling, screaming, whining, running, doors slamming, fighting, and way to much of me saying " You guys!!"
My sister-in-love had a day like this yesterday, so I suppose it's my turn! Can't wait until naptime!!
