Beautiful Colorado
Saturday was an absolutley beautiful day! This weekend is so "Colorado". Saturday I believe the high was 73, and Sunday the high is 36 and snow!!! Seems so crazy to me!

Later we met the Oklahoma cousins at the park so the kids could run around and play. The twin girls are 3 and baby Kaleb is 4 months. Madison couldn't keep her hands off of him!! We had a nice time catching up with them. Later in the evening they left to go Angel Fire and we celebrated my birthday with Matthews parents and siblings because we hadn't had a chance yet. Amy Catherine made a delicious apple crisp and Scott wipped up some yummy strawberry dacaris! Complete with Pizza and presents it was a great evening!! We did miss Amy Rene and her gang though : (

What we woke up to Sunday morning...
We really had a wonderful day. Matthews grandmother, his mother's mother, is failing healthwise. Her kidneys are failing and the doctors have not given her to much longer to live. So, some of Matthew's cousins from Oklahoma City have come to visit her, and us and go skiing. So this morning, I took the wildflowers down to visit Grandma at the nursing home where she lives. I think we made the day of many of the little ladies that live there because they soo loved seeing my wildflowers. They just lit up and went on and on about how cute they were and how they wanted to keep them! We took Grandma for walk around the lake since it was nice out.

Colorado Humor
I think this is so funny.According to Jeff Foxworthy, you're a Coloradoan if...
You switch from "Heat" to "A/C" in one day.
You know what the "Peoples Republic of Boulder" means.
Your sense of direction is: towards the mountains and away from the mountains.
You're a meat-eating vegetarian.
The bike on your car is worth more than your car and you have your own special bike lane
You're able to drive 65 miles per hour through 13 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without even flinching.
You design your kid's Halloween costumes to fit over a snowsuit.
You think that sexy lingerie is wool socks and flannel PJs.
You know all 4 seasons "almost winter, winter, still winter and spring blizzards
You can never figure out why your out-of-town guests faint from altitude sickness on a picnic to the mountains.
You can drive over a 12,000 foot pass in 4 feet of snow, but can't get to work if there are 4 inches of snow.
You know the 'correct' pronunciation of Buena Vista.
Your car insurance costs more than your car.
You have surge protectors on every outlet.
April showers bring May blizzards
.'Timberline' is someplace you have actually been.
Your golf bag has a 9-iron, a 3-wood and a lightning rod.
SPF 90 is not out of the question.
People from out of state breathe 5 times as often as you do.
Thunder has set off your car alarm.
You can recognize the license plates of all 50 states on sight.
Driving directions usually include 'Go over _________ Pass
.'You've 'checked for ticks'
You've dressed in shorts, sandals, and a parka w/a hood.
You've gone snow skiing in July and...You've gone sunbathing in January and...They were in the same year!
