Happy May

I am not a huge Trace Adkins fan, but the words struck me today when I heard his new song Your Gonna Miss This. This songs rings so true for me. Each day I try to appreciate how fun a 2 and 3 year old can be, but sometimes I find myself just wishing it away. Wishing they were a little more self-sufficient, wishing I had a little more freedom.....but I do try to keep in mind that they will care less about being around me and more about their own friends before I know it so I better appreciate the clingyness now!
