Shhh......
So I am throwing a big surprise 40th birthday party for my husband on Friday....it has been in the works for a couple of months so that means I have been nervous and worrying about it for that long also!! We are doing a Luau theme.....no roasted big or anything, just Hawaiian music, plastic leis, etc.....So does anyone have any fun ideas, recipes for food or drink, games to play, decoration advice, the name of some good songs to boogie down to......anything that can help would be much appreciated!! And please pray for good weather and that he doesn't find out and that it will be a fun surprise!! Of course, your all invited!!

I don't have any fun ideas to think of, except to take A LOT of pictures!
Because your nosy bloggy buddies will want to be in on the fun too.......I'm just saying.;)
Don't worry though, your husband will love that you went through so much trouble and planning to make his birthday special.
And after the party, when you two are alone, "You could go skinny dipping, and do things that frighten fish!"

Try the soundtrack to the movie, 50 First Dates, it's got the Beach Boys and some others that is great! Also there is 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' by Iz. It's really neat....he's Hawaiian and plays his ucalele in the song. You can scroll through my playlist and listen to it if you like!
And then just have your speaker turned up on your computer for some background music during the party!
