Saturday my parents and I took the wildflowers to the Happy Apple Farm to pick pumpkins. I had never been there so I didn't know what to expect. I was happily surprised!! It is this darling little farm that grows apples, blackberries, raspberries, and pumpkins. We were able to go out into the fields and gather as many pumpkin that we wanted. They take you on a hay ride back to the little store where you weigh your pumpkins. They had a restaurant that served brisket sandwiches and homemade pies and cobblers from the fruit that they grow. Needless to say, we stayed for lunch! Yummy!! The only downfall was it was the coldest day that we have seen this fall season....a brisk 43 degrees!! It was a really fun time and the wildflowers enjoyed it a lot! This is going to become a fall family tradition for sure!!

Looks like fun! I would have stayed for lunch too, especially after I heard they had cobblers! That is one of my favorite desserts!
I wish we would get a little cooler weather here. We are in the 80's! I have to say I'm tired of wearing my shorts. I'm ready for jeans and sweatshirts!
I agree with Tammy, "looks like fun".
I don't agree with her assessment of cooler weather however. :)
by the way: I get your blog posts via RSS and haven't seen your site for a while, I like the layout - it looks good.
Looks so fun! love the kid's outfits, you did good.
And may I say you look absolutely beautiful-you're glowing!!!
Love, Amy C
I'm pretty sure one of my favorite things to do is hang at a pumpkin patch in the fall! You made great memories!
